My dream came true. I met Stan Lee! He was such a sweet nice man!

I got to the convention center at 7:30am and picked up my VIP badge. They let us in at 9:30am where I ran to pick up my free T-Shirt and then ran to the autograph line.

My heart was pounding horrible when we got closer to the booth to see Mr. Lee. Finally, it was my turn and I was so close that I could have touched him. All the things that I imagined that I would say to him I could not articulate. So, in laymen’s tongue, I just said “Thank You very much Mr. Lee for everything.” He looked up from my comic he was signing and smiled at me and replied “Anytime sweetheart.” Of course, my heart melted and I kind of choked up.

The line took awhile so I ran right to the photograph line so I would be able to take a photo with Mr. Lee as well. When it was my turn to take the photo with Mr. Lee, I walked up next to him slowly and just held my breath. He smiled again at me and gave me a hug from his chair and said “That-a-Girl!” He had his arm around me as we took the photo. I remember just saying “It’s such an honor Sir!” I was really on the brink of tears then. I love his smile!!!! He is just wonderful!

Of course, I wasn’t done because I waited an hour for the photo to print. After I picked it up, I ran back to the autograph line, after purchasing another autograph ticket, and waited to get Mr. Lee to sign the photo we took together. (Mr. Lee would go back and forth from the autograph to photograph booth throughout the morning and afternoon).

When I got there again, he just gave me a smile and the guy next to him said “Oh you took such a lovely photo.” Mr. Lee turned to him and said “I do take great photos.” The man laughed and said “I was talking about the girl.” Stan laughed and replied “Oh right. Yes, she is very pretty.” I couldn’t say anything at that point. I almost burst into tears and was so chocked up that I just gave Mr. Lee a huge smile and walked away with the amazing signed photo!

I really liked the dealers booths and enjoyed walking around. I was so ecstatic and on an emotional high that I really was just wandering for a few hours until the Marvel Panel started.

The Marvel panel was great! I left the panel at 3:30 and walked over to one of the staff members to find out where the Stan Lee Panel line started. The staff member pointed at my feet and said “Right here.” I was the FIRST PERSON IN LINE! I was so happy. This has been the day of miracles! I got to sit right in front of where Mr. Lee was going to sit and chat. I took a video of the event and will be posting later once I get home.

So, in summary, Baltimore Comic Con was the best convention I have ever been to. I am so happy that I could cry. It was just so amazing!

On a side note, this really nice boy, Tyler, I met at the convention gave me this poster for my birthday, which is on Tuesday. I always meet the nicest people at cons! He and his Dad were pretty cool!
